![]() ![]() I could ping anything through the tunnel, resolve names, latency was low but we've had UDP traffic issues and we've had MTU issues, among other things. We are using a proprietary VPN solution provided by our firewall manufacturer, and we've had numerous VPN problems in the past. Every VPN implementation seems to be different. Even temporarily, just to see if your problems are going to go away.I can't give you any specific advice. View image here: -If you are using hardware appliances to create the VPN tunnel, consider using two Windows servers with dual NICs. Or you could try to fix it yourself, but you'll probably have to do a lot of experimenting and trial-and-error configuration changes on the live VPN tunnel. They've probably seen it before and could help you. ![]() Instead of trying to switch everything to TCP you should contact the VPN provider (Cisco PIXes on both ends? Or MS servers? Or something else?) and explain the problem. The problems caused by that are usually authentication related, as Kerberos is using UDP (by default). UDP traffic getting hammered in the VPN tunnel is very common. ![]()
